i have a inspiron E1705. Just recently, i have been having trouble with my internet connection. for some reason, it has been delayed. usually on start-up, it starts in a few seconds, but now it is delayed. i have norton 360, and i ran startup manager, and i had the option of delaying things. i have done that for some programs, but am pretty sure that i did not do it for my internet connection. i also ran ccleaner recently. would this affect it? in the past, it never has, but then again, i got an update for it. but i think that was after the problem even started.
also, when i open up my browser, it opens the webpage, but shows a red X saying that i am not currently connected, when i really am.
what is going on here?
