I have a Dell Inspiron 2200 with the hardware that came with it in 2005. I was on the internet when all of a sudden the comp starts telling me that I should close Microsoft Cabinet Maker. Now I didn't even know I had that until it said something about it. Now, whenever I boot up the comp, before it goes to the main screen, it keeps saying "You should close Microsoft Cabinet Maker" and even when I say "yes" to closing it, it still won't go to the main screen with all the icons and whatnot. Can anyone help me? I'll rather not have to reset the comp because I don't have a back-up and I have Microsoft Works (which everyone knows is insanely expensive). I figure it's a problem with the cabinet maker, I just can't do anything at all except bring up Windows Task Manager. Oh and I deleted "{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}," as a recommendation from http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...1722545,00.asp . Please help.
