ASUS W90vp-A1 HDMI and JVC GZ-HD30

Can we connect JVC GZ-HD30 to ASUS W90vp-A1's HDMI port
to display real shooting image from GZ-HD30 or to display
the disk file(xxx.tod or xxx.mts those are 1920x1080i H264 or
mpeg2TS files) from GZ-HD30?

ASUS W90vp-A1's HDMI is only for output?

Most laptops'HDMI port is for output.

Not that I am aware of, at the moment. Using comps as video input still require some sort of adapter/converter/special software. It is being considered "professional" works ;-)
