hey guys, i just got my M6805 and i am lovin it! im using it for pro tools recording, nad it works amazing!!

quick question though, i live in canada, it just started getting nice around this time of year!

will sitting outside in the sun, damage the notebook at all???
like the screen or anything like that?

its soo nice being able to chill in the sun!

mind you im only web browsin , chatting, downloading stuff... nothing cpu intenvise, if i wanna play games ill go inside so it doesnt over heat in the sun

Sounds like you got a good plan.
Underclock the video & undervolt the cpu if you want to be extra safe.
I have used several laptops in the sun. Of course, I tend to prefer shade since norwegians tend to overheat in the direct sun even faster then their laptops.

If you use your notebook outside and in the sun, it will burst into flames and be reduced to a pile of black ash in a matter of seconds.
