Dell Studio 1555 Change Wireless Card possible?

Hey Guys

I got my Dell Studio 1555 with Intel 5300 Wireless card (3 antenna attached)..

I bought off a Dell 1510 Wireless card off ebay to replace it..

Now i have received my wireless card but it has only two antenna stop in it.. the middle one is not there.

can I still change it and use it? I dont wanna open it and remove until i m sure .. please help and point to guide if any!!!

IMO the 5300 is a better card, I would leave it.

But to awnser your question, yes you can install the 1510, and just use two of the three wires.

You will also need to download the drivers for the 1510 card before you install it so your ready to install the sw when you boot up with the new card installed.
