Acer Aspire 5315-2698

I just bought an Acer Aspire 5315-2698 to replace my ailing Aspire 3680...

Is this laptop capable of 3GB of ram?

Also, what Duo Core or Core 2 Duo processors are possible to swap in?

For any memory questions, go to crucial.com and either let it scan your computer or use the drop downs and insert your laptops info. It will tell you everything about how much and what type of memory you need

Thanks. I actually just looked at the sticker on the laptop Now Im curious about which processor I can upgrade to....

Before you think of updating the processor, consider that your warranty will be voided if you do.

Warranty is no good anyway, especially with Acer!

I yanked the Celeron right away on my 3680 and installed a Core 2 Duo. Never had a problem that wasnt self inflicted (broken screen - my fault).
