Sager NP 7750 Information

Thread Starter
I am considering purchasing a Sager NP 7750. Does anyone actually have one of these? I am concerned about the quality of the keyboard, particularly feel of the keys and flex, etc.
Also, the relative brightness of the screen compared to others.
Since this is a "low end" Sager, is the build quality significantly lower than that of the more expensive Sagers?
Any problems with excessive heat?
Anyone have problems with this laptop?
Also, any comments about the chip set. This uses a SiS chip set while most (essentially all that I have seen) of the higher priced Sagers use an intel chipset. Is this SiS chipset reasonable quality or am I looking at a problem in the future.
Thank you.

I don't believe there is a correlation between SiS chipsets and Intel chipset failures. SiS chipsets tend to be a little less expensive because of the Intel brand.

I'd like some of the above quesitons answered as well. Looks like a great laptop for the price and is the model/make I am considering more than anything else.
If you end up buying it before me mobiustoo, please PM me or post a short review, it will be greatly appreciated since I ould not find ANYTHING substantial online, in regards to reviews, benchmarks, etc.
thanks!

wow, guess not a lot of forum members are buying this piece. Seems like it, because of no replies.

May be I cannot answer for the Sager NP7750, but I can chip in for the Clevo M770SU, its twin in Europe. It is a well built machine, with good specs and quality keyboard feel.

I don't see the notion of the low-end since this machine can be configured to be just as expensive. The casing will not be of cheaper version/material, devices specifications are what one is paying for $$ or $$$$.

cheers ...
