Unsure about graphics cards

Hey guys,
I'd call myself a casual gamer, but the technical aspects are not my specialty. I've got a laptop for school, and I know it's not a gaming notebook at all, but it usually works alright. Trying to play graphics heavy games, like Fallout 3 and Demigod, is like pulling teeth. So, I believe I need a new graphics card. I'm on a tight budget, like all college guys, so I need to find a card that is compatible with my laptop, but not one that is super powerful and expensive. I just need something to get the job done that I know will work. Any words of advice?

My computer is a Dell Latitude D830, and it's got all of the original componets. The graphics card is a Nvidia NVS 140M.

So, what's cheap, compatible, and not total overkill? Thanks to all.

Welcome to the forums,

You could possibly upgrade to the 256MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M, but good luck finding one.

I'm guessing those are pretty rare?

It's pretty rare to find any cards that aren't bought directly from the vendor you purchased the notebook from.

Unfortunately, your graphics card is not upgradeable. For better graphics performance, you'd need a whole new computer.
