Is this laptop good for $1800?

For a laptop, is it worth $1869?
- 17" WSXGA+ Super Clear Ultra Bright Glossy Screen (1680x1050)
- Intel® P9600 45nm "Montevina" Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz w/6MB L2 On-die cache - 1066MHz FSB
- nVidia GeForce GTX 280M 1,024MB PCI-Express DDR3 DX10
- 4,096MB DDR3 1066MHz Dual Channel Memory (2 SODIMMS)
- Combo 8x8x6x4x Dual Layer DVD +/-R/RW 5x DVD-RAM 24x CD-R/RW Drive
- 250GB 7200RPM (Serial-ATA II 300)

P.S. I don't want to get a cheap laptop and good desktop. I want one good/decent laptop.

. Latest CPU and GPU = yes

. Screen resolution = toss up due to user preference, I would like a 1920x1200

. Hard drive space = a bit low

. Brand name = definitively (what is it? )

lol As for screen resolution, my current desktop resolution is 1280x1024 and it suits me well. I don't want to do such a huge difference and get a 1920x1200 =P. If I can see the difference between the two (i.e. in real life), then that would help quite a bit :/.

As for HDD, I have an 1TB 7,200RPM external HDD w/ eSATA. Planning on using this as for my "entertainment" HDD. The 250GB was the smallest HDD the vendor had to offer for 7,200RPM.

As for brand name... Purposely left this off to see if its worth the money =P.

That graphics card is one of the most powerful currently on the market. The price you listed seems fair for a notebook with that graphics card.
