Power adapter fails on A135-S2356

Has anyone experienced any issues with the AC adapter cable PA3290J-2ACA going bad on the Toshiba Satelite A135-S2356?

I have replaced my adapter over three time now. They won't last no more than a month.

Any suggestions?

You shouldnt be going thru adapters like that. Are these infact proper Toshiba ac adapters or compatible noname brands (3rd party).
You dont possibly have a lot of power fluctuations in your area do you. Have you considered running your laptop thru a real good surge protector?

Yep, agreeing with Saugen - this is not normal. Try different power sockets in the house?

Are you purchasing an authentic Toshiba A/C adapter for your system? Correct voltage and amps?

I have seen many 3rd party ac adapters fail fast...
