Gateway M-2625U : Not connecting to google

I recently bought a Gateway M-2625U laptop. The thing is that my internet connection sometimes it does not connect to Google but it can connect to other websites e.g yahoo. This is true for both Mozilla and IE. What might be the problem and how can l fix it ?

The funny thing is that other computers in my network can connect to the internet. Is the problem with my computer or the router ? Should l take my computer back to the shop

you might have a virus. Sometimes viruses will prevent a computer from accessing web sites that can be used to get rid of it. If that's the case, you should borrow an anti-virus program from someone you know and install it on your computer. Then, do a scan and see what it comes up with.

I got ESET security l scanned and it said no virus. The thing is when l restart the laptop it then easily connects to google

I would just disable ESET security and see if it connects. Just another query, what AV app are you using besides your Eset?
