is there a software to monitor the temps of the cpu and hard drive an gpu?

it came with aus nb probe installed but all it shows is normal for everything and not the temp numbers which i would like to see instead of the normals messages.

oh and is there a way to show the temps in the oled display?

like for the cpu and gpu? if so that would be very cool.

so far im loving this laptop

very fast and i was even suprized it played gta 4 pretty good

it pretty much beats my desktop which is a amd opteron 160@ 3ghzs.. and a ati 4850 which i never think it would beat it. maybe the opteron is just dated

also kills my dell 9300 in sig .. lol

are you talking about the g50vt-x5? If so the speakers are left of the oled screen and right of the power button. Also have small tweeter type speakers right below the palm rest on the far right and left. None light up only the back lid lights up.

the cpu overclocks with direct console. Turbo extreme mode gets it up to 2.3ghz and turbo is 2.2 ghz..The cpu can be upgraded really well actually...Someone on a different forum threw an x9100 into his x5..thats a core 2 extreme cpu at 3.1 ghz...As for overclocking the gpu its VERY simple! The 9800m gs is the same card as a 9800m gts!! Same exact architecture. Nvidia took the gts cards and lowered their clocks a little bit and BAM..You have a cheaper card hence the gs is born...Some cards were lowered because they couldn't handle the gts speeds...they were defects so they were lowered to gs speeds and shipped as a gs..Anyone rarely gets a hold of those cards..It's about a 1 in 10 chance you have that one...But anyway you can do a BIOS flash on your gpu if you wish...I did it and gained about a 10% increase...My score in 3dmark06 reached up to 9617..PM me and I can give you directions on how.

Look for the software Notebook Hardware Controller (found in this site: http://www.pbus-167.com/). It should have all the features you are looking for and much much more.

Your laptop should also come with a Realtek Audio Manager with which you can test your speakers.

Hope this helps.

for anyone who wants to try the release candidate of Windows 7, NHC doesn't work correctly in it. You can use RMClock instead.

nhc doesnt work on vista 64 or 7.
use setfsb or cpu and ntune for gpu but i highly reccomend you flash the bios frst to gts speeds on the gpu.
