Windows XP64 and FerrariWP.exe problems

Hi All

I am having problem installing Ferrari Calendar 2009 on a newly re-installed WinXP 64bit Ferrari 4000. Yes, I know! It was a dumb act not to backup the related files etc. I found and installed an old ferrari FW-Installer 2005, (I couldn't find a newer version.). I installed the screen savers and the start up sound alright; however, no luck with the calendar wallpaper. I mean it installs the files in the right places but refuses to run and display the calendar at the startup. The Ferrariwp entry at the startup programs is also checked and OK. One thing I've noticed is that, there is no entry in the Display Property under the Deskto Background section. I remember that there was an entry called WP in the wallpapers list which needed to be selected as the chosen background.

Could anyone please tell me where is it that Iam going wrong (beside not backing up these files...). Do I need a newer version of the FW installer? Thank you kindly!

I have changed the Fat32 format to NTFS. Would it be the reason why the Ferrari calendar does not work? Does the Ati display driver needs to be 32bit? I am using ferrariwp.exe version 1.0, is there any newer version out there? I would be grateful for your inputs in solving the problem.

Thanks

www.ferrari.com

Special site for Ferrari owners that can download many special apps related to this model from Acer. You need to register (free) to use the site. Let me know how it works out for you.

And no, NTFS should not have anything to do with your app not working.
