can i control my fan on my xps 1330? thx

You can try out I8kfangui. If its not supported then my answer is no, you can't. Note that I8kfangui is pretty much dead now. It will require a complete rebuild from the core to support new machines from what I understand. I have this summer relatively free and hope I can work on i8k. Still though, I won't have access to any new machines to help build a version that supports new machines. I'm just trying to add a few things to the old i8k. Anyway, don't want to get anyone's hopes up because this program really isn't my style at all.

I'm unsure if Dellfand (linux) can control the fans.
