PC Gaming Season 2009

Today we launched the second annual PC Gaming Season, a eight week event celebrating PC gaming and PC gamers. This year’s event will run until June 20th and include weekly featured games, polls, a change to win free shipping on system purchases, tech callouts, weekly giveaways and a grand prize sweepstakes to close everything out.

A number of people worked hard to get this live including Game Partnerships and Event, Design, Programming and Product Marketing.

I like it. But why did Alienware decide to put Doom on the voting list? That seems to be a very small market for gamers these days. And no Call of Duty 5 option.

The voting results are really low for Doom and Unreal Tornament; it looks like they are closing the poll on Sunday, May 3rd. Hopefully we will update the top FPS Picks list next go around.

Sounds good. Unreal really has fallen off the charts in terms of an awesome FPS. I feel the developers need to get back to the drawing board.
