I am returning to university for my final year soon. I want a solid, reliable laptop, I would like it to look nice but I don't think it is the most important.

I am looking for a reasonably small laptop but big enough to look at so probably around 15 inch.

I have looked at the Dell Vostro for £299/316 but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other laptops in a similar price ranges so I could see the competition.

HP is offering some good discount at the moment. Have you looked into it?
