Windows 7/Vista - D/Dock - Audio not working on dock but is on laptop

It seems that since I updated to Vista and to Window 7 subsequently I can't get the audio to work out of my dock. It works fine out of the side of my laptop.

Any ideas on this? I wouldn't think it is a driver issue as sound does work.

You went to Vista from XP? Then from Vista to 7?

These were all clean installs.. I just switched OS'es.

had the same problem when i went to vista on my m1710. no solution ever found unfortunately....

I'll give this a try.. Unfortunately Hardware Profiles is not in the same location. I need to find it on Windows 7
