Choosing 64-bit Vista, any problem?

They have 32-bit or 64-bit Vista option and I'm thinking to choose the 64-bit, since 64-bit sounds newer than the 32-bit.
But is there a known problem with 64-bit Vista? Should I be concerned about something? Maybe a huge compatibility issue? I'm thinking about the Studio 15. Thanks.

The biggest problem with a 64 it OS, is the lack of apps that run 64 bit.

For the most part you can at least get all the drivers for the newer 64 bit units.

Just many apps will run in 32 bit mode, and some amy not run at all.

Most of the newer apps will run 64 bit, but you'll still run into some problems. If you stick to the mainstream apps, you shouldn't have a problem.

I get my new 64 bit Studio XPS in three days...
