Slashgear today iis reporting an MSI announcement of two new gaming systems the GX623 and the GX 633, to be released...well, not sure when they're to be released or how much they'll cost but we do have some specs for them.

Both of the systems will have 15.4" screens each with a native 1440x900 resolution (that's a ratio of 16:10 for those of you who may not be keen on the 16:9 ratio), and standard goodies such as

Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a DVD writer, memory card reader, three USB ports, VGA and HDMI outputs, Ethernet, the option of Blu-ray, 9-cell battery and highlighted W,A,S,D keys for easy game maneuvering.
The differences between the two are one system has Intel+ATI (C2D and ATI Radeon HD 4670 3D, 512MB RAM), the other one has AMD+nVIDIA (Turion X2 dual-core and NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M with 512 MB RAM)

my opinion...That is not much of a gaming rig with an hd 4670 and a geforce gt 130m...More like HAPPY MID-RANGE GAMING!

well especially with the 15.4" screen it's more like a mid-range gamer that's easier on the pocketbook than anything else.

The Alienware 15 inch screen is hardly a mid-range notebook however. Don't let the size of a screen fool ya.

Too bad that they are not offering the screen that is on the (old) GT627 (1680x1050 on 15.4" plus IntelĀ® Core 2 Duo P8600 that can be OC to 2.8ghz with a push of a button & nVIDIA Geforce 9800M GS/1 Gigo DDR3 VRAM).

I will try to get my hand on this once getting back to Hamburg later, for a review.

cheers ...
