Good day guys, I am newbie here and glad to be a part of this community..

I have a problem which I think you only guyz could help me... I have this Laptop Toshiba satellite 2450 model and i've been using this for quite sometime..
I have no problem with connecting through internet before till one day, I cannot connect anymore and found out that the LAN port where i used to connect my DSL has a light even my laptop was turned off. I guess there's something wrong with this port coz i really cant connect through the net and my laptop wasn't wi-fi... hope you could help me guys.. your help would be much appreciated... Thanks in advance...

. Try first to uninstall and reinstall the device within device manager.

. Try also with another cable

Sound like that you might need to try to replace the port (hopefully just the jack).

p.s. - I removed your sig linking to blog sites, we consider this spamming at NBF. Do it in your post if you need referencing, relevant to threads.

The port itself will not fail unless it is physically damaged.

It sounds like a motherboard issue that can easily be repaired.
