T61 ThinkPad touchpad specifications

What are the specifications for the touchpad on the T61 ThinkPad?

I'm curious because this is the best touchpad I have used on a laptop computer. Is there an industry wide specification for the surface roughness of touchpads? I find the sensitivity and accuracy of this touchpad outstanding.

There are 3 major touchpad manufacturers, I think ()

* Synaptics
* Alps Electric Corporation
* Cirque Corporation

See what driver you are using and mail them?
