MSI GT627 is a cool gaming machine. Its Turbo Drive Engine, which can overclock the notebookâs Intel Core 2 Duo Processor up to 15% at the touch of a button when in AC mode, is a cool mod in itself.
Only issue is that it uses DDR2 instead of DDR3 memory - this has to do with controlling cost, I believe.
You should be able to run Crysis 3-pack and Far Cry 2 with medium settings on the 9800M GS with no issue. But with the 15.4" and 1680x1050, it is a moot point.
