Asus G50VT-X2 driver help

Thread Starter
Hello
I just got a G50VT and the first thing I did when I got home format and install Windows 7 RC on it, Windows 7 runs great but I would like to get the quick launch and LED screen to work. I have the CD with all of the drivers and software on them but I am not sure what the software and drivers are called on the disk. I would like to install as little of the bloatware that I can and just try to get the drivers maybe. Also if anybody knows of any way to customize what I can have the LED show or say on the screen would be a big help.

Thanks

the OLED screen and lights are run by a program called Direct Console.

Windows 7 will not let you use direct console 2 to run your oled i beleive. I have an x5 and any other os besides vista you need to use a program such as lcdhype.
