MaxxPI 2 Benchmark

Thread Starter
Here's a cool benchmark that measures cpu / cache / memory performance. Version 1.36 was released on the 12th, and I'm going to insert it into our database so people can submit it.

Download here.

Anyone want to run it on their notebooks and post their scores?

Yeh its a timed benchmark, so it will calculate Pi to the 1 or 2millionth decimal. When I submit it in the database, people will be required to use the 2M setting.

Well, don't really have anything to compare against - but the 2M benchmark on my E1705 with a T7400 calculated in 10s 607ms 131µs, and says Reached 2M score :193.1 K/sec.

Time to upgrade I think

I don't know about that. Your CPU did it in half the time that it took mine
20s 853ms 521µs (Asus Z71V, 2.26 Ghz Pentium M)

I guess that second core is really doing something in there!

Doesn't mean I shouldn't upgrade though!

Oh yeah, that result is with Windows 7 RC x64 installed fwiw.
