Hi. I have a Toshiba A135-S2386 that will not turn on. This started happening after the screen suddenly froze. I assumed that it was just another crash, so I restarted the computer without another thought. After pressing the power button again, it would not show the BIOS startup screen, or anything (not POSTing). The CPU fan just whirred, the normal LED`s are on and it seems fine. And it stayed like this for two weeks.
After getting the time, I finally took it to the store I bought it from, and they suggested it was the power supply. At another computer store earlier, they suggested a motherboard problem. With some stroke of luck, the computer didn`t turn off when I was bringing it back home, and the heat or something brought the laptop back to life! I discovered that it would not always boot up, or sometimes booting if you left it on for awhile. So this continued, for about a week.
Unfortunately, the laptop is once again dead, and I would like to know why.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
