or it depends on how many pixels the display has.
for example...

Aspire 6930 has 1366 x 768 Pixel (HD Ready) and ASpire 7530 has 1440x900 Pixel, and not HD Ready

so,if i watch a normal DVD,not bluray or HD or whatsoever...in which notebook would the picture look great?

well,7530 has 17" Display and 6930 has 16"

other question....
if i watch a movie with 1080p on Aspire 6930,does it work? or the picture would go slow?

cause i had an old Notebook from HP Compaq Presario C500...i could watch 720p with no problem, but not 1080...so,how is it with this acer 6930 or 7530.

sorry,if i nerve you with my questions..i just want to be sure before i buy it.

By the way...VLC Player is the best player to watch 720p movies? or is there any better player?

It depends on the streaming sources. If they offer HD, then yes, the HD ready notebook will take advantage of it.

well,if they not offers HD Streaming? does it look different on the Notebook without HD Ready?

Probably not, if you have a quality notebook with decent system performances. Take a look at different TVs, the one with HD and the one with no HD - that is close to a comparison for you.

The Acer 6930 is capable of playing HD videos. How the screen presents, is another story. You can hook to an external HD screen if you so choose.

so u think, even it says that this acer 6930 HD Ready 720p..it still be able to play 1080p movies? do i get it right?
Yep, as long as you have a screen that can present it.

Don't confuse with playing (system specs) capability and presentation (screen constraint) capability.

. For antivirus input, browse these threads:

For MS Office, you just have to pay. Alternatively, you can try Open Office, an open source office application.

u thin it´s fast? for internet,game,etc?
i thought it´d be Core 2..but it´s not.

hi,

is this WLAN fast? Acer InviLink™ 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N Wi-Fi CERTIFIED®
post #39 of 60
Can you post the link to the machine that you are looking at, so we can be on the same wave length?

The mentioned wireless card supports up to 100M Bits/s throughput, but fast or not depends on the environment (router, ISP, distance).
