A Screen shot of my HTC Touch HD running WM6.5

And it's not sold in the US, which means you won't see every kid and their grandma walking around the mall with one.

It's not sold in the US. I had to buy mine from ebay.

I just searched it, and T-Mobile is offering this in European countries as part of its contracts. Brand new, not even on open market yet. Wow.

cheers ...

Yeah I was lucky enough to get a brand new 8285 version which runs US 3g. The 8282 will not use US 3g, just in case you were looking at buying.

So far, it's the best phone I've used or seen. Time to retire my trusty HTC Kaiser (tilt)

That is a cool tip to know, the difference of the models.

I am still enjoying my Samsung i900 Omnia, so it will be a while yet for me, but definitively for relatives who are looking to move to touch devices.

cheers ...

The Touch HD's are awesome

I'm waiting for the Touch Pro 2 to come out.

Rocking a HTC PPC6800 at the moment.

I'm pretty disappointed with the performance of the qualcomm 7201A myself,it might be groundbreaking for sqaushing the most thing's on a single chip, but the performance isn't there compared to previous device's with separate marvell, wolfson, star, nvidia or ati co processor's,but then i guess they would have trouble getting the good battery life they have with the qualcomm's and the nice thin profile's of the newest HTC's

I'm all for power saving design's but only when they don't impact performance, look forward to seeing how nvidia's SOC design pan's out,but I'm a bit qualcomm shy now.

Well, I decided I'd sell the Touch HD on ebay. I'm going to get an i7 920 D0 6gb Dominator 1600's and a Foxconn Bloodrage for the price of this phone. It's up to 600 dollars with 2 days left.

=)

If I was on a GSM network I'd definitely scoop it up.
