s10 won't power on correctly

I have a brand-new s10 (about 2 weeks old) that won't power on correctly (screen just stays blank). I had downloaded a bios update from Lenovo's support site and was attempting to update the bios. The computer rebooted as expected but something must have gone wrong since the screen will not come back on. I tried one-key recovery and the same thing happens and I can't seem to boot into safe mode (I hit F8 while powering up). Is there anything else I can do to bring this thing back to life or do I need to have them just ship me out a new computer?

I personally would ask for a replacement, if it was the bios update that got it botched.

Call up Lenovo support and see if they can walk you online for recovery.

I did speak with Lenovo support. They talked me through a couple of basic troubleshooting tips and that was it. I haven't been impressed with their tech support thus far so I figured someone on here might know of something else that I can try. It's probably going to take 3 weeks to get a new computer to me so I'd really like to exhaust all possibilities to try to get this one working again.

I would not blame the first level Support on something a bit complicated like a botched BIOS update/flash.

And since you can get a replacement, it is better so than trying to reverse the flash.

Lenovo is pretty good at returning repair/replacement, I know many that got the replacement within 2 weeks and less.

I ended up sending the laptop back to them for repair. They told me the turnaround is only 7 business days on a repair vs. 3 weeks for them to send me a new one.
