Dell lattitude E6400..no sticker at back

Hi
I bought a DELL E6400 P8400 core 2 duo

It has a windows vista installed and there is a sticker of windows vista below the keyboard

But there should be a sticker too at the abck of products key, thats what everybody told me..but there isnt any on mines

Plus It came with a Windows XP CD. not windows Vista Cd

Whats it ?
Did the dealer faked me or what

the Windows Certificate is usually on the bottom of the laptop, or inside the battery compartment.

ok..I will check inside the battery compartment

But ther aint any vista CD..only XP pro CD

wats about it

Was this a used laptop ?

There maybe a Windows Vista restore partition on the hard drive

If you have a "Dell" warranty you can always order a Vista CD

Not all laptops come with the CD's, that is usually an option on many these days. But you can always order or buy the Dell restore CDs.

It my well be the guy threw in th XP cd as a freebie.

Try contacting them and ask if they can supply a Vista CD

Ok i found the sticker in the battery compartment

I also valifated my windows vista business online..it went all good
This laptop is brand new ..
It came with 5 cd`s
One is windows XP pro SP3
second is of drivers and utilities..it got 2 cds
Third is of application
and forth is of Roxio Creator

There is partition predefined named Recovery..i dunno whats that for?

Is all the above fine or is ther something missing?

And can i order vista CD or it that fine without it?
In case i order it, How much wud i be charged or is it free of cost?

I forgot to mention> all CD`s came sealed pack ..

Every seal on every CD has a serial no. written
