Buying new laptop

Hi guys

I'm in the market for a new laptop, but I'm looking for one without the gloosy screen, I want a mat screen. with all the special name (true life....) wich one do I need to choose to get a mat screen?

I would like to keep the budget below 3000$

With a $3000 budget, you can afford pretty much whatever your heart desires. Almost all notebooks are less expensive than that.

To make sure you get a matte screen, you'll have to look carefully at screen descriptions. Pretty much any special terms (True Life, X-Brite, etc.) mean that it's a glossy screen, so you want to avoid those.

Aside from the matte screen, do you have any other preferences? Screen size? Thickness? Battery life? Multimedia/gaming power? How do you plan to use the computer? Answering these questions can help narrow down your search field.

Are you in the States? If so some matte screens but not a lot. You don't want true life as said above. It is DeLL's glossy offering.
