So, I pull my old widescreen 10.6 incher out of mothballs, figuring it would at lesast match, if not beat the snot out of, most of the current netbooks. And it's crazy snappy, so much faster than with XP. [AND it has an optical drive, take that, netbooks.] But my one HUGE gripe is- it doesn't recognize the odd ws resolution of 1280x768 that this LCD is capable of. I've redone the video driver, and yes I realize it's still a release candidate, but my OCD can't handle the vertical black bars that are 4:3ing my poor little ws. Is there anyone out there that can help me fix this??
