m7700 scanning IDE drives

Can anyone help me with this issue?

I have a m7700 system that takes a long time to boot.
It gets to the Fastrak 378 raid screen where it is "scanning IDE drives" .. but this takes a good two to three minutes to complete.

It finds the raid setup (and hard drives) with no problem afterwards but the scanning process takes forever.
The fastrak 378 bios version is 1.0.1.35.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

This turned out to be a cable issue. Only one of the connectors was working and it was in reality only seeing one HDD. I swapped out the cable and it was fine.
