Discovering the Macbook Pro

Does anyone know how well the 9600GT with 512MB memory run Fallout 3? And their thoughts on trying to run Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. Last when I run windows directly on the machine would I experience any performance lag.

Gaming is not meant for a Macbook (or any Macs ).

But many have reported a decent 25-35fps on this game. Trick is to find a good driver version.

yea if you want to game, i would recommend another brand where the price doesn't cost you and arm and a leg.

But we can only speculate how well that specs can run starcraft 2, if you look at their presentation videos/screenshots, the graphics doesn't seem too demanding. I believe that's their strategy to get more gamers involved because if the standards are too high, you are not going to get a wide range of people. That's my 2 cents.

qhn, the MBP is better suited for it than the Macbook. While none of the Apple line ar really hardcore gaming machines, they can hold their own decently.

To the OP, no you won't experience in performance lag running windows in Boot Camp. You will literally just be running Windows, just the same as on any PC.
