Alcohol or Daemon Tools?

Hi,

After getting that false positive alert from AVG on a possible trojan from Alcohol 52%, I decided to install Daemon Tools Lite and tried it out. I found that it was working well and didn't get any falst positives.

My question is, which of these two utilities are better? I don't really want to have too many redundant apps running on my laptop.

I've used both Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools before. I don't have either installed now but they both did the jobs I wanted to do. I wouldn't call either one better than the other for my purposes.

Daemon Tools used to bundle spyware/adware with their free edition of Daemon Tools. They call it "ad-supported" software.
