Hi

I have 2 windows XP Home (legal) without using.

I want to install one of them in my laptop (acer aspire). But the optical unit does not work.

Is it possible to install Windows XP without CD - Rom?

You can create an installation package over the net, and install it from there. Your simple approach would be to get/borrow an external optical drive (via USB) and install it.

Won't you want to have your DVD drive fixed eventually? While possible to install via other media, one other option as well is to get an external DVD drive if the current Acer drive is not available.
