My screen has gotten kind of loose lately and feels alittle floppy. How do tighten it up? Thanks in advance!

You probably can get access to the hinges' screws by removing the LCD panel. Just don't over-tighten them.

cheers ...

You won't have to remove the LCD itself. On the LCD bezel you've got those small, round rubber bumpers. They are held in place with a dab of rubber cement so just pull them out. Once out, you'll see there is a screw underneath. Remove all the screws and begin to carefully remove the bezel starting at the top. Take your time and don't force it. When you get to the bottom you'll find there is much more resistance. That's because behind the Alienware logo at the bottom of the bezel there is a 2 to 3 inch long piece of two sided tape that secures the lower bezel to the LCD frame. Once the bezel is removed you'll be able to adjust the hinges.

Prior to starting, unplug the AC adapter, remove the battery, and depress the power button for 20 seconds to ensure all stray voltage has been discharged.

Lol,

I have the M9750 and then got the M17. When I got the M17 I figured I just get the lower res wxga screen. I was horrified at how awful it looked compared to the 1900x1200 screen on my M9750. So I ended up switching the LCD panels between the two since the power requirements, connectors, and inverter are the same.

It's only knowledge born out of necessity, or at least desire!
