So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...

One of the longest and most enduring brands in computers is Thinkpad. Originally developed by IBM in the USA, Thinkpad notebook computers are now...
The long awaited NEW Alienware M17x finally appeared on Alienware's site. You can conifgure your new monster here. The base price is actually a lot less expensive than anticipated, but as you continue to customize, the price rises pretty rapidly.
I dunno. When the m15x was released, that melted faces big time. I'm excited for this notebook, but not sure it's that much a of shocker between the other models.
If anyone has any questions regarding this new model, post them in here. I have someone reporting from E3 that can probably ask these questions at the press tomorrow.
Now that Dell has taken over the manufacturing process for Alienware, will this laptop be filled with bloatware like every other Dell computer out there, or will it be a clean OS install with only the drivers added?
Also, does this laptop have bluetooth 2.0 built in?
Actually, the news is such that Alienware will take over the current gaming development department of Dell, leaving Dell concentrating on other models.
This might turn out to be a good taking over. Time will tell. But seeing Gateway is doing well under Acer umbrella at the moment, this is a good trend.

Those are both great questions. I've added them to my list.
We've heard rumors that there is an overclocking feature built in. I've looked at the description at the Alienwae sit but can't find anything about it.
I suspect it may have been only a rumor, but could you find out for sure?

For the folks that are part of the U.S. Armed forces, don't forget that you can purchace the new M17X and any Alienware or Dell computer through AAFES (Military exchange).
You get a small discount (2%) on computers from them as well as free shipping, and zero tax.
Overclocking is handle in the bios under "Over clocking" you can set "CPU Multipliers Select: [Default to 16x] (**on unlocked CPU's)". You also have an option to "Select Clock mode: [Linked and unlinked]". "Unlinked" let you set "Memory frequency: xxxx" and "FSB Frequency: xxxx"
This software installed is the same as Alienware normal (ie.. no bloatware)..
