I can't play HDmovie at 1080p resolution. May someone help me

what are the specs. I know some of them come with only a core solo cpu. if that is what you have you just don't have the processing power for most 1080p files.

also, what type of 1080p file? wmv, flash, mov, mkv, etc... also, do you happen to know what codec it is using? VC-1, h.264?

Acer Timeline 4810T: SU9400 1.4Ghz, 4GB RAM, GMA 4500MHD.
my file's type is mkv and i Using klite codec pack.
I've tried to playing in my friend's notebook but the result is very good.
she's using ASUS UX50V: SU3500 1.4Ghz, 4GB RAM and GMA 4500MHD.

my cpu is stronger than my friend, right? but why i got difference result?

Are you testing/comparing the same file, same codecs, same setup on your friend's system?

sounds like a decoder issue

try VLC or I recommend ZoomPlayer.

Zoomplayer comes in a free version, so you don't need the trail. I have found zoomplayer to have better playback of hd videos.

ASUS UX50V has both GMA 4500MHD and nVIDIA G105M. By using DXVA, your friend can play 1080p.

Timelin 4810T is too weak. sorry to say that
