The game looks really good but its been way to long. We will see what happens when it comes out but Forza has really take care of the racing genre for me.

1000+ cars in GT5. 200 of them completed polished in HD, interior and exterior.

Got to play GT5 at the store

The graphics are impressive. Moreso in photomode, however. The weather effects and handling are real nice, even with the game pad. Should be really sweet if my Logitech MOMO wheel works

They've split the 1031 cars up between 231 premium ones, and the rest are standard. Unfortunately, the standard ones aren't so hot (ported from GT4, GTPSP). They do have increased resolution, so it does look better than GT4, though. Can't wait to try out the Top Gear track :P

Might be able to score the collector's edition as well, as the store clerk just *might* have one extra. We'll see on Wednesday (after which you won't see me around too often) lol

I dont EVER buy collectors editions. Biggest waste of money. I rarely even BUY new games now. I just use Goozex for everything.

The two times I bought collectors editions was before my use of Amazon. And the store ****ed me because they only were selling regular editions to people who pre-ordered it. Everyone else had to buy the CE.

The general consensus is that GT5 is better than Forza3... don't know anything about Forza 4 (never played any of them myself).

Yeah, I was unable to get the Collector's edition because it was under-shipped to the store. I normally never buy collector's editions either, but this one was only $40 more than the standard game, and included a very good book (only available in the collector's edition), and a model apparently worth $40-50 by itself. There's also a few other things included as well.

I'll make do with the standard version I picked up (plus a couple pre-order bonus cars). Someone has already confirmed that my ancient Logitech MOMO racing wheel will work with the game

I see Steve found the best screenshots from the game.

And FYI: Photomode > Racemode in premiums > racemode in standards
