Sager 5320 power up issue

Having a strange issue with my laptop recently.
At power up, everything seems to work(fans, hd spinning, clock) but there is no video, screen doesn't even power on. The hard drive light comes on and stays that way even if the hd is removed.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm assuming that its the system board but can't seem to find one without contacting them directly and I can't afford $400.

Try turning on your system with one stick of memory loaded at a time. Make sure that the notebook is off while you are removing/changing the memory sticks. Hope this helps

Thanks for the attempt but no joy.

Something else to add about the front display. The cam, battery nor caps/num lights will come on.

After a few minutes the main fan does come up to high speed. Hd light stays solid for all but an instance when it is first powered on. That's about it.

At this point I would recommend you contact Sager tech support at 800-741-2219. Good Luck!
