Hello,
I have Dell XPS 1530, installed windows server 2003 R2
legal and fully updated. Drivers for evrything are working corectly, sdhc, bluetooth, wifi, fingerprint....
Except this:

I have a error code 10, unable to start hardware device
with ExpressCard d-link DWA-643 version 2.10
Tryed evrything... New drivers, even atheros
but the same...

On vista, evrything works perfect.

I doubt that server 2003 doesnt have proper support layer for expres cards as xp and vista
Any suggestion please ?
Maybe I can unpack and use something from xp sp3 in order to make it work ?

Thak you.

Use a XP driver is not a bad idea. I read that someone used this Gigabyte V.4.2.0.374.02 driver for the D-Link DWA-643.

Give it a shot.

cheers ...

Some additional information:
My bios rev is A12
and:

Device Description D-Link DWA-643 Xtreme N ExpressCard Wireless Network Adapter
Bus Type PCI Express 1.0 x1
Bus / Device / Function 11 / 0 / 0
Device ID 168C-0024
Subsystem ID 1186-3A6F
Device Class 0280 (Network Controller)
Revision 01

This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Fast Back-to-Back Transactions Not Supported

Device Features
66 MHz Operation Not Supported
Bus Mastering Disabled

Gygabit driver doesnt work as well cose its actually atheros, as i said i already tried it.
But I suspect that ther is no proper support layer for expresscards in win 2003 server.
Some solutions ?
