Valve has failed with this title. Too long for episodic content...unless Ep3 will be a completely new (full) game/engine.

They need to release something, the story is unfinished, personally not a fan of the episodic thing much, they're too short and lack replayabilty imo

this guy on another forum is saying that HL2E3 is the last half life i heard somewhere else that its not that their is going to be a HL3... if E3 is the last one then they have a lot to cram into this game...on another note about that ship and aperature if you play portal prelude their is a part where you see G man :O

No one knows anything about whether or not there will even BE an Episode 3. Gabe was quoted months ago saying they were "re-evaluating" their approach to episodic content.. which hinted that they were developing a full new game.

I expect an announcement next week.

Portal 2 DOES look awesome and I can't wait. I'm sad it was delayed till 2011
