Google for De-cas or something like that. You can get some free software; however, it will be in different "pieces".

Step 1: DVD Decrypter
Step 2: DVD Shrink
Step 3: Img Tool/must have nero 6 installed

You can skip the 1st step in most cases unless there is some sort of copy protection DVD Shrink can't handle

All of them are free w/the exception of nero but the trial version will work just need to have in it installed in some form you don't actual use nero directly. Nero 5 will sometime work and sometimes it will not play a DVD in a DVD player (computr use only)

Easiest way to back up any DVD and have it play in a DVD player even save all the extras of a dual layer disc with minimal quality loss, not noticable on a normal TV and you have to really look hard to see the compression on an HDTV.

Good luck hope they are "backups"

just search bit torrent for an older copy of dvd x copy platinum, then back it up to a cd or something so you don't ever lose it
