Studio XPS 16 resolution/video question

Thread Starter
Hi,

I'm getting ready to buy a new laptop, and thinking about the Studio XPS 16, the one thing I am unsure about is the 1900 by 1200 resolution. I've currently got a 15 inch Dell that runs at 1680 by 1050, and kind of worried that the higher resolution is going to be very hard to look at. Anyone have trouble with it hurting your eyes?

I have a Dell 24 inch wide screen that I run at 1900 by 1200 and it's perfect, but it is obviously much bigger.

Thanks,
Jeff

I have no issue with 1920x1200 resolution. It is strictly personal preference. You can use larger DPI settings to zoom up the characters or set the screen to lower resolution as needed.

cheers ...

The SXPS is 1920x1080 so probably isn't that different vertically given it's 16" diagonally V 1050 on a 15.4" diag.

I found 1920x1200 to much on a 15.4",although is fine with me on 17"

What about 1440x900 WXGA+ LED on a latitude or precision 15.4"..... at least it's 132 vertical pixel's more than the other SXPS screen option,my preference is for WSXGA on 15",but WXGA+ is passable especially as they are very bright and have good colour/contrast
