Hey, I bought this NP8887 in june of 2003. I'm transferring universities and the one I will be attending this summer has specific requirements so I need to get a different system. Since I've bought it I have had to send it in three times, the final time the service department at Sager replaced everything, new motherboard, videocard, ram, etc., and has had absolutely zero problems since then. This laptop has never left my desk at college and it's only belmishes are a few keys on the keyboard, which are shiny from use. The battery has only been fully drained once since I bought it and gets about an hour and 45 minutes on battery power alone. I bought this laptop before the UXGA screens went out of stock, so the native resolution is a sweet 1600 x 1200. This laptop is great for games, watching movies and tv, or as a work station. I know people complain about this model's heat and ventilation problems so I'm throwing in the acryllic dual-fan latop stand that I have been using to eliminate those problems. I have pictures if anyone is interested.
