Asus X83V trouble

All I get is the start up screen and nothing else happens. . Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Nothing is working. It just stays like that.

you may have a problem with your hard drive. By "start up screen", so you mean where it says Asus or where it says Windows? If it doesn't get past where it says Asus, then I'd contact Asus and tell them about it, since you most likely have either a hard drive failure or other hardware problem that would be covered in warranty.
