Hi, I've been searching everywhere but noticed the people here are really into helping figure things like this out
I have a Gateway T-6836 and according to gateway the up to date driver version for Vista 64bit is 6.10.5580.0
I know people discussed modified the .inf files, but I don't understand how to make it work. I've tried and failed.
Does anyone know of a driver for Vista that will have the StereoMix feature or has modified theirs and can tell me how or even pass along a copy of their modified driver? That would probably help the most if someone could send me a copy of what worked for them on a system that uses same drivers as my T-6836.
This is the accurate driver according to Gateway (that doesn't have the stereo mix)
D20184-006-001.exe - Sigmatel Vista 32/64-bit audio driver
Supports: Windows Vista (64-bit), Windows Vista (32-bit)
Note: v. 6.10.5580.0
PLEASEEEEEE HELP!
My main reason for wanting this is to stream stuff via ustream/mogulos/justin.tv, etc....not to record mp3's or any sort of piracy. When streaming thou it always picks up my mic instead of the sound on my game.
