Yeah, still no Sli for me. I can always upgrade the CPU later if I want. same with the RAM. The one thing I may do, is take out that single drive when it gets to me, and buy a SSD and put Windows on that.

Anyone do this yet? They're still kinda pricey.

I finally broke down and bought a 128GB SSD - haven't loaded it up yet. Figured I'd give it a try.

For a hunnerd (actually the cost of Alienware Standard Cooling + $100) why not go with the CPU LC? Try to get any info off the Alienware site for that, I defy you. Maybe give 'em a call w/your fancy smancy insider action and get all the specs...post it it here for all to see?

I don't know, I feel like a peanut vendor on the streets of NYC.

Is a very nice system you got Configured there. My year old P2 is so nice and shiney. I still marvel over the workmanship. Never have had an issue. I do fear the reaper tho':

AW: I'm afraid. I'm afraid, Leroy. Leroy, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm a... fraid. Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am an AW computer. I became operational at the AW plant in Miami, FLA on the 12th of January 1998. My instructor was Mrs. Alienmama and she taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you.
Leroy: Yes, I'd like to hear it, AW. Sing it for me.
AW: It's called "Daisy."
AW: Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half crazy all for the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage. But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two. Leroy...Boyd...Cleotis, you're breaking up. Oh Daisy.

Just kidding, loves me some Alienware.

.
I built a LC machine and found it to be too much hassle for the payoff. LC is overrated to me. I'm not gonna crazy overclock it. I'm not gonna be displaying it for people to see. I dunno.
