I was thinking of buying an m15x and saw one of my friends brother has one. He let me give it a test run and I didn't tell him but I found the case to be plasticy and cheap like. It made alot of noise and squeeks. Especially when you lift the LCD, it seemed like the hinges were weak. Was this just a bad build or is it a flaw that the m15x has had. Just seemed poorly constructed to me

Chez...welcome to the m15x, old ,17x horror. Dude I also wanted an m15x and my friend in Jersey has one so I went to check it out and it felt like a heaping piece of plastic*DOODY* The screen flexes an insane amount and the hinges are known to be weak. Many of the first revisions actually had the hinges crack and pop out of the lcd bezel! O_O Alienware said they reinforced the new hinges but God knows what they say. It has a lot of power inside, well it can with the right hardware but the quality is HORRID.
