Linux on the NP9280

Thread Starter
I'll be upgrading my 9261 to the 9280 in a few months, but was hoping to avoid using Vista. So I thought I'd use Fedora 10 (now 11). The machine will have all 12GB of RAM. I'll be running a more than one VM at a time as development machines. For most other stuff I use, there are Linux equivalents to the Windows XP software I use now. For the times when there isn't an acceptible equivalent, there's always a WinXP VM.
So what about drivers? Has anyone attempted to install Linux on a 9280 or 926x? What were the caveats?
Thanks guys. I'd really just as soon skip the whole Vista thing.
